The Deal with Wine Riot:
Wine Riot is Second Glass's expo-style wine tasting extravaganza!
Wine Riot is split into two sessions featuring Crash Course seminars, DJ, Second Glass photo booth, and more! Wine Riot Chicago will be held at Union Station.
The Deal with Volunteering and your FREE ticket!
Volunteers are asked to sign up for one of the shifts below and will sign up for the free session of their choice at the volunteer meeting. You may not drink during your volunteer session. Those who choose to Volunteer for Riot 2 Saturday night are not allowed to pick Riot 1 as their free ticket, due to the alcoholic nature of this event.
Volunteers are required to attend one of two meetings before Wine Riot to get acquainted and go over volunteer responsibilities. At the meeting volunteers will receive their free staff shirt and learn the logistical details of the event.
Volunteer Meetings will be held:
Wednesday, May 30th- 7:30 PM
Thursday, May 31st - 7:30 PM
Location - TBA
All volunteers must be at least 21 years old.
Volunteers jobs will consist of some or all of the following (and will be organized into groups): checking in vendors, scanning tickets, issuing wristbands, handing out guides and wine glasses, monitoring and assisting in Crash Course seminars, overseeing and helping with following areas: the venue floor/exhibitor booths, food area and photo booth.
Volunteer shifts are broken down as such:
Shift 1: Setup - Friday June 1st 2pm-6:00pm
Shift 2: Opening Night: Friday, June 1st, 6:15 - 11:30PM
Shift 3: Riot 1 Saturday, June 2nd 12:15 PM - 5:15PM
Shift 4: Riot 2 Saturday, June 2nd 6:15 PM - 11:30 PM
Riot Schedule/Free Ticket Options:
Opening night: Friday, June 1st, 7:00- 11 PM
Riot 1: Saturday, June 2nd, 1:00 - 5:00 PM
Riot 2: Saturday, June 2nd 7:00 - 11:00 PM
